Owen turned two months old last Tuesday and I’ve finally gotten around to posting his two month photos.
I know everyone says it but it really is true – they grow SO fast! Owen seems to get bigger each day.
And I don’t want to sound like one of those annoying gloating mothers that constantly brag about their kids, but I’m going to anyway. Owen is definitely advanced for his age. It’s probably mostly due to the fact that he’s extra-large, but I like to think that it’s because I grew and gave birth to a child prodigy. He can already hold up his head and do mini push-ups, lifting up himself on his forearms. He pushes himself up with his legs and he follows objects intently with his eyes. He even blows bubbles with his slobber. According to what I’ve read about infant development, all of these activities are things that babies do when they are at least a couple months older than Owen is.
Of course, having a boy wonder has its drawbacks. It means, more than likely, I’ll be chasing after a very active tot sooner rather than later.
I have to mention that Richard thought we should have taken photos of Owen’s dirty “number two” diapers for his two month birthday – get it? Like any normal person, I nixed that idea.
Check out our growing mini superman:
And since we took photos of Owen on the beach for his one-month birthday in August, we decided to take September-themed photos to mark his two-month birthday. Here they are:
And here are some bloopers from our photo shoot:
I think he thought falling off the chair was funny. Don’t his feet look huge here??
He looks like the laziest, lounging drunk baby in this shot.
Adorable little boy!!! Those pics are fabulous; particularly the “bloopers”… He’s blessed to have a mummy with your gentle and loving sense of humour 🙂
Thanks! Hope litte Camden is doing well.
