Truthfully, Dr. Seuss Day excites me more than Valentine’s Day. It’s the book lover in me.
To celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday last year, I hosted a Seuss-themed playtime party for Owen’s friends. Since Dr. Seuss Day 2014 is almost here, I thought I’d share some photos from our Seuss play date.
For the play date, I served Seuss snacks and arranged lots of “props,” including Dr. Seuss books and plush toys, for a photo op. Click here to download and print the Seuss-themed snack label cards.
Each little guest received a framed Dr. Seuss quote that I designed wrapped in chevron paper.
Take a look at the fun:
Wasn’t Owen a cutie a year ago? Even then, he couldn’t sit still.
Sooooooo sad I missed this!!! Dr Seuss is my Favorite!!!!! Do another one!!! Xo Ali

Louisa, you are so talented!! I wish you could find a way to do things like this for a living! Only if it’s fun! Love, Lucy
So cute! What did you use for the white part of your egg?
Thank you! They are white chocolate candy melts. You can get them at craft stores in the baking section or Walmart with the cake decorating supplies.
I absolutely LOVE your snack title cards! Did you buy or make?
Thank you! I made them. I downloaded clip art online and downloaded a free Dr. Seuss style font. I will post the PDF file so you can print it!
