A couple weeks ago, my group of mommy friends threw a surprise sprinkle for our dear friend Mitzi. I was delighted to help make decorations for the simple and sweet celebration. Mitzi’s expecting her second son and she never had a shower during her first pregnancy – we couldn’t leave her miss out on a shower experience this time!
Since Mitzi is having a baby boy, the theme for the sprinkle was bow ties with blue, green and yellow colors. Take a look at the DIY decorations!
If you have seen some of my past party decorations, you know that I love mason jar centerpieces. For Mitzi’s sprinkle, I used mason jars once again. I glued buttons and bow ties that I made out of colorful paper to the jars. Then I filled the jars with baby’s breath flowers and little yellow carnations. Super easy and super cute!
I also made garland out of more handmade paper bow ties by gluing them to ribbon.
Every shower needs some cute framed signs and wood alphabet blocks.
My friend Ali made these adorable bow tie cupcakes.
Wrapping plasticware with blue and teal napkins and polka dot ribbon, I made these cute bow tie bundles.
Hanging little onesies with clothespins to make a banner is such an easy thing to do and perfect for a baby shower.
So great to celebrate Mitzi’s almost-here baby! Looking forward to meeting the little guy soon.
