St. Patrick’s Day Mini Pot of Gold Favor

St. Patrick’s Day is only a few short days away! But there’s still time to make this personalized bitty pot of gold as a holiday treat or favor for your kiddos.

My sister came up with this concept, and I’m sure you’ll think it’s as super cute as I do. Plus, it’s super easy!

DIY Mini Pot of Gold Treats for St. Patrick's Day

Here’s what you’ll need:
Chalkboard spray paint, flat black
Empty glass baby food jars with labels removed
Chalk
Yellow candies

First, spray paint the baby food jars following the instructions on the can.

Once the jars are completely dry, write the children’s names on them with regular chalk or a chalk paint marker.

Then fill the jars with yellow or gold candies. I used yellow M&Ms, but there’s plenty of other candy or snacks that you could use – yellow gumballs, gold foil wrapped chocolates, yellow jelly beans, caramel popcorn. I think slices of a string cheese stick would be great too for a healthier option.
