Over 46,000 people visited Ice Cream Off Paper Plates during the past 12 months. It was a big year for this little blog: my writing was shared by Pregnant Chicken and even Scary Mommy (thanks to these two very popular posts, Second Child Syndrome and Motherhood: Oh, The Irony!) I started an Etsy shop, since I was receiving repeated requests for party items seen on Ice Cream Off Paper Plates. All in all, it has been a busy and successful blogging year. It’s going to be a challenge to keep the momentum going in 2016, but I’m excited to try to top 2015. I already have a bunch of post ideas brewing in my head. 🙂
I’ve heard many times that the “days are slow and the years are fast.” It’s so true, right? Having gone to bed after midnight and then waking up extra early to the sound of Owen yelling from the toilet, I know today will be LOOOONG. But then I’ll blink and be writing this recap post on the first day of 2017.
